(Xfrog is NOT a L-system. L-systems are slow and have no local control over each twig or leaf of each branch, for one tiny example. Xfrog uses highly accurate textures of real plant parts to achieve highly detailed photorealistic models which will last several years before technology might outpace their quality. For our XfrogPlants, our experts make detailed studies of real plants, and gather their bark, blossoms, and leaves, and then construct highly accurate models with textures applied where needed for photorealism. Some models have up to 20 texture maps applied (Tropical Library, Flower Library).You get with any purchase of Xfrog, 60 Tree models for no charge, as our Worldwide Basic Library, to get you started.

BUT, Xfrog is not restricted to only making Trees. It can be and is used for any organic structure. Some uses of Xfrog - trees, bushes, grasses, simulation of protozoa, flower modeling, flower animation, cacti and succulents modeling and animation, organic architecture, abstract organic modeling and animation. Many of these are available pre-built from us as XfrogPlants Libraries.
