V06:R2 - Total Textures "Clean Textures"
The Original Total Texture collection
was created in 2003, utilizing the best methods and technology of the time.
Since then, techniques and technology have both moved forward, and here at
3DTotal we felt that although the original collection is still widely used and
highly regarded among artists and studios of all calibers, it was time for an
update...
Total Textures v6 is a collection of 'clean' textures that
have little or no 'aged/stressed' elements. The collection consists of straight
'new' looking textures such as new woods, fabrics, bricks, tiles, wallpapers and
Stones.
All image maps have been obtained from original photography.
Each image is 100% seamless (painted out by hand) and available in two
resolutions (approx 1400x1400 & 700x700) with a matching bump maps.
This enormously improved version
of the original texture collection now contains 176 individual Materials, (124
on v6:r1) comprising of over 1880 individual, hand crafted texture maps (248 on
v6:r1) and are all fully tileable. Every Texture now has its own unique colour
map, bump map, specular, & in some cases even have a normal map. Each texture
has been tiled 4 times, then had some repeating patterns painted out, and then
been tiled 4 times again to give huge areas of the tileable texture.

As with the old v6 we have included for all of the maps,
pre-tiled x4 and x16 versions with many of the repetitions painted out for
texturing middle and far distance objects
Project Overviews: To accompany
this DVD there is the added bonus of 8 tutorials that have been created by
3DTotal gallery selective artists using these textures alone.
HTML interface providing easy browsing and map selection to
use with all 3D Software packages (Will work with all web browsers and is PC &
MAC Compatible)
Important Information: As the
New Total Textures V6 : R2 has 3 times the content over the old CD we have had
to make them DVD's so please make sure that you have a DVD Rom Drive on your
computer before purchasing.
The Total Textures on this DVD are compatible with all
Software.
