a complete library of oriental textures has become a requirement for many 2D
and 3D artists. In response to this demand, Marlin Studios created the Great
Textures of the Orient library. This is another "must-have" for your

The library's author, world-renown
texture artist and photographer Geoff Holman, traveled to the Orient to capture
the rich textures that exemplify that area. Geoff has previously created five
best-selling Marlin Studios texture libraries. His expertise as a texture artist
grows with each library, and the quality shows in Great Textures of the Orient.
Geoff uses only the highest quality photographic equipment and spends a great
deal of time in post-processing. Each texture is "hand-sewn" together
to create the seamless effect - no algorithmic texture programs were used in
this work.
Oriental textures in the
library are categorized as buildings, signs, statues, plants doors, roofing,
walls and windows. The texture library is useful for both 3D and 2D artists
involved in graphics work and print applications, The textures can be used on
all major platforms: PC, Mac, Alpha, and Amiga.
