The Cintiq 20WSX provides a widescreen alternative to Wacom's flagship Cintiq
21UX. Optimized for widescreen use, the Cintiq 20WSX offers 1680 x 1050
resolution for high image quality, a wide viewing angle, and accurate color
reproduction.
With an aspect ratio of 16:10, the 20.1" diagonal display joins the Cintiq line
in providing a best-of-class pen experience for working on screen. The work area
size and shape provide space for creating and editing large images in great
detail, previewing wide-format content, and positioning pallets and tool menus
in an efficient desktop layout.
The completely flat surface allows the hand and pen to glide over the surface of
the Cintiq without bumping into bezels or borders. A dynamically-adjustable
stand allows you to rotate the display up to 180° in each direction, incline the
display from 10° to 65°, and even remove it for comfortable lap use. Rear roller
feet make the incline adjustments easy-the result is freedom to adjust the
display to positions that work for you.
Strategically-placed ExpressKeys™ and Touch Strips are programmable, allowing
you to customize your Cintiq to your needs. ExpressKeys are easily accessible on
either side of the display and provide quick access to keyboard shortcuts,
modifier keys, and functions that minimize dependence on the keyboard for
uninterrupted work sessions. Finger-sensitive Touch Strips are located on either
side of the display for easy zooming, scrolling, or making tool adjustments
without taking focus away from the pen tip.
The Cintiq 20WSX combines the advantages of a large-format LCD monitor with the
control, comfort, and productivity of Wacom's most sophisticated patented
cordless, battery-free pen technology.

Widescreen Display Format Optimized for widescreen use, the
Cintiq 20WSX offers 1680 x 1050 (WSXGA+) resolution for high image quality, a
wide viewing angle, and accurate color reproduction.
The entire 20.1" LCD display becomes an active work area for creating and
editing large images in great detail, previewing wide-format content, and
positioning pallets and tool menus in an efficient desktop layout. This work
area size and shape is also well suited for the architecture of the human body,
allowing the arm and hand to easily glide over the entire surface without wasted
motion.
ExpressKeys™ The Cintiq 20WSX offers fourteen customizable
ExpressKeys to provide quick access to commonly used modifiers, keystrokes,
mouse clicks, and other timesaving operations. ExpressKeys are commonly used
with the non-dominant hand while the dominant hand is working with the pen on
the Cintiq surface, and they are chordable, which means that they can be used to
create powerful keystroke combinations.
Toggle Between Displays The Cintiq 20WSX extends your pen
control to multiple monitors allowing you to add a Cintiq to an existing display
and easily toggle between them. This Display Toggle feature allows you use the
pen to control the cursor on all desktop displays connected to a single
computer. It improves navigational efficiency and gives users increased
flexibility in using the Cintiq with other displays.
Touch Strips Two finger-sensitive Touch Strips are located in
an ergonomic-friendly location on the back of the display for smooth scrolling,
zooming, changing brush size, and more. The Touch Strips can be easily
configured to control a wide variety of workspace attributes.
The new location of the Touch Strips provides fingertip control while freeing
the thumb to select a Touch Strip Modifier ExpressKey. Touch Strips, when used
in conjunction with a Touch Strip Modifier ExpressKey, provide up to six
assignments for Touch Strip functions. In Adobe Photoshop, for example, this
allows you to control zooming, brush size, brush hardness, and opacity at the
touch of a finger.
Completely-Flat Surface The surface of all Cintiq products are
completely flat edge-to-edge to allow the hand to glide over the entire surface
easily. Artists and designers appreciate this feature because it eliminates the
artificial borders and distractions caused by a raised bezel edge, and allows
them to use guides and drawing tools such as French curves, protractors, rulers,
and templates directly on the Cintiq surface.
High Performance Pen Technology The Cintiq 20WSX shares Wacom's
most advanced pen feature-set with all products in the Cintiq line to provide
world-class precision and control. This pen sophistication combined with the
ability to work directly on screen makes any Cintiq the key to a digital
experience that is closer to working with traditional materials and tools than
ever before.
Both the tip and eraser of the Cintiq Grip Pen (included) feature 1,024 levels
of pressure sensitivity for precise image editing, accurate brush control, and
selective application of effects and filters. The result is an amazingly smooth,
responsive, pen-on-screen experience.
The patented Cintiq Grip Pen is comfortable to hold and easy to use. It is
cordless and battery-free for reliable and consistent operation. It has a
DuoSwitch™ (rocker switch with two programmable positions) for quick access to
mouse clicks or frequently used keystrokes and modifier keys.
Ergonomically Advanced Stand Design The patented Cintiq stand
is included with both the 20WSX and 21UX. Rear leg roller wheels work in concert
with the counter-balance springs to make incline adjustments effortless. The
Cintiq stand allows the display to be reclined to a nearly flat 10-degree
position to closely simulate a traditional creative environment such as a
drafting or animation table.
The Cintiq can be rotated in its stand up to 180 degrees in either direction to
allow users to dynamically position the pen display for optimal comfort. This
rotation feature allows industrial designers, artists, and imaging professionals
to quickly rotate the display to capture the perfect arc, negative arc, and
straight line while minimizing trial and error, which saves time and produces
higher quality work.

technology to provide distortion-free viewing of 170 degrees or greater in all

positions from upright to nearly flat. Color shifts are minimized even at
